Itineraries
Day-01
Arrival in Gangtok
On arrival at Bagdogra Airport/New Jalpaiguri (NJP) Railway Station, Travel Magica representative will greet you and take you the wonderful vacation starting from Silliguri to Gangtok Gangtok where you' ll be transferred to the pre-booked hotel. You can enjoy a leisure walk at the MG Road, Tashi viewpoint, hanuman tok, Banjhakri Water Falls, and Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day-02
Gangtok - Nathula Pass - Gangtok
After Breakfast you will proceed early Morning Nathula Pass / Local Sightseeing (Nathula Pass are added in the plan but its visiting fees should be directly paid to the vendor) like 1- Energy Park 2-Sikkim Himalayan Zoological Park 3-Rumtek Monastery 4-Namgyal Institute of Tibetology and over night stay in Gangtok.
Day-03
Gangtok - Lachen (121 Km 4 Hours 45 min approx)
Post breakfast leave the hotel and you'll be taken to Lachen by One and half hour dive from Lachung. In Lachen Chopta Valley and Gurudongmar Lake. An annual yak race, the Thangu is held here in summer are the prominent attraction. Drive back to the Gangtok overnight stay and dinner at Gangtok.
Day- 04
Gangtok - Yumthang valley (116 km, 4hrs 26 min approx) - Zero Point (25 km, 43 min)
After Breakfast move to Yumthang valley. Yumthang valley is about 25 kms from Lachung located at an altitude of 11,800 ft and takes about 1.5 hours of drive. The tree line ends and the vast stretch of flowering valley exposes a dense bed of rhododendron flowers for miles and in many different colors. Yumthang also offers lovely views of the mountain peaks such as Pauhunri and Shundu Tsenpa forming the backdrop of the river Teesta. Further up and about 25 kms from Yumthang at an altitude of over 15,000 ft is the place Zero Point (also known as Yume Samdong). It takes another 1.5 hours from Yumthang by vehicle Zero Point is the place which remains snow covered for most part of the year. So if you want to see and enjoy snow, then visit Zero Point and you won't likely be disappointed. There are also Hot Springs in Yume Samdong at the river called Sebu chhu. Donkia-La pass is also located here (at an altitude of 18,400 ft which connects Lachung Valley with Lachen Valley). Then check in the hotel for overnight stay in Lachung.
Day 05
Back to home
After Breakfast you will check out from the hotel and back to the Gangtok visit Tsomgo Lake, Banjhakri Water Falls. Later our representative will drop you Bagdogra Airport/New Jalpaiguri (NJP) Railway Station.
