Chandigarh – Manali – Dhundi – Bakathach – Beas kund – Solang – Manali – Chandigarh

Sometimes also spelt as Beas Kund trek, the Beas Kund Trek starts from Manali through the famous Solang Valley which is 15 km away from the Manali town. While crossing across the Solang Vally which is famous for its ski slopes, one can find the lush green meadows, glaciers and snow-capped mountain peaks all around the valley. The trail further carries the trekkers via Dhundi and Bakarthach to enter the Beas Kund Glacier where the origin of the River Beas can be found.“Beas” is a derivative form of the name of the legendary author Maharishi Vyas who scripted the noted epic Mahabharata. The name has been christened to the famous river originating from the Beas Kund and proves to be the remarkable destination for the trekkers and the tourists. The Beas Kund acts as the base camp for climbing Ladakhi and Friendship peak. Through the fascinating routes, the trekkers and the travellers can get an opportunity of exploring different impressive places at Delhi, Chandigarh, Manali, Solang Valley, Solang Nala, Dhundi, Bakkaer Thach, Beas Kund and the most magnetized the Dhauladhar Mountain Ranges.

Itineraries

Day 1

Chandigarh to Manali(8hr 30 min/309km Approx.)

Our Travel Magica representative will pick you from the Railway Station/Airport and escort you to the hotel. We will start our drive to Manali. Enjoy the Breathtaking view of the Himalayas from the window of your cab. overnight stay at the hotel

Day 2

Manali – Solang – Dhundi

We will begin our drive from Manali, at a young hour early in the day and drive to the Solang valley up to the Dhundi street connect to being the main leg of the trek. Solang gloats of a portion of the best skiing inclines of India and is the beginning stage of numerous treks in Himachal Pradesh. Steadily climbing from the valley for around 8 km, the trail takes after waterway Beas, ordinarily crossing the stream from one side to the next, getting us to Dhundi. The interesting little mountain villa that has nothing to offer spare picturesque excellence and reverberating quietness, Dhundi is another elevated knoll loaded with wild blossoms. Set up camp for overnight remain.

Day 3

Dhundi – Bakarthach

Today 6 km long trek takes us over approximately held stones and moraines of a diminishing ice sheet at places. We proceed up to a grand campground at the fields of Bakarthach which is a high-elevation knoll and truly signifies 'shepherd's field'. These captivating knolls are extremely well-known fields for the Gaddis – a solid itinerant clan of shepherds, and it's anything but difficult to discover herds of sheep munching gently in this peaceful idyll. This sun and wind cleared knolls will be a devour for your faculties. Overnight remain in tents.

Day 4

Bakarthach – Beas Kund – Bakarthach

An ambitious start to the day and a short move up the edge through Bhoj Patr will get us to Beas Kund. Bhoj Patr gets its name from the way that the region has a considerable measure of Bhoj Patr (birch) trees. We will invest energy here at the chilly pool of Beas Kund – the wellspring of one of the significant streams of north India. The legend is that Sage Vyas, the creator of the immense epic Mahabharata, ruminated here. Following an entire day of outing in the Beas Kund level, we will return to Bakarthach at night.

Day 5

Bakarthach – Solang – Manali

After breakfast we start our return trek to Solang; we will take the same route through Dhundi. On getting down, we’ll board the vehicle waiting for us which will get us to Manali. End of the trek.

Day 6

Departure from Manali

Breakfast at hotel Drive to Chandigarh Railway Station/Airport for onward/return journeys your trip ends here with some beautiful memories
